Back in Kumamoto so off to my favourite Kumamoto ramen place, Tengaiten.
If only the men's hardness went up to barikata and it were less oily, it would be perfect.
Took a day trip to Kagoshima.
I was there for one reason only: kurobuta aka black pig/pork.
Very soft and mouthwateringly juicy.
I don't really like Kagoshima especially compared with Kumamoto.
Kumamoto is dirty, compact and full of personality and Kagoshima has history but is so bland.
I was basically waalking around to get ready for my next meal.
Omfg. Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai has an office in Kagoshima. Its all a conspiracy.
I feel like fultoning crates everytime I see them. That's Sakurajima in the background but I couldn't be stuffed.
After walking around I was ready for Tontoro Kagoshima ramen. If you click on the picture you can see them shooting for tv inside.
I've been saving up the new ramen shops for a big list but this is far and away the best new ramen I have had this trip. Better than Tengaiten. The kurobuta cha shiu was soooo soft.
Back to Kumamoto and the christmas tram.
In time for yakiniku with Asami. She's opened her own girl's bar with her brother called Q&A. If you want to sing old school Momusu and Ayaya all night, Q&A is just opposite the Family Mart on Kagomachi doori 駕町通り. I wanted to eat basashi (raw horse) but they didn't have any.
