Japan Trip 2018/2019 Part 3 : Anata no Warehouse

On the third day of the trip, the main destination was Anata no Warehouse in Kawasaki.

Stopping at 7/11 for Nanachicken. For a long time, famichicken was my favourite chicken snack and during the previous trip I fell in love with Lawson chicken and I declared it the best conbini chicken. Now with 7/11's nanachicken, I think I might have found the new king of conbini chicken. It just gets top marks for seasoning and juiciness! If you've been to Japan, what's your favourite konbini chicken?

So what is Ananta no Warehouse?

Its what would happen if a very rich tycoon from Hong Kong who loved arcade games decided to build something combining his love for arcade games and old Hong Kong feel.

The whole building just feels like some surreal movie set.

They've got audio of people speaking in Cantonese playing.

The game we spent the most time on, Espaluga. I'm going to learn how to play this game and we're going to clear it on less than 10 continues on emulator.

We managed to win this Kirby blanket from the UFO catcher. There was a note on from the employees saying that this was easy to win and to go for the edges.

Missed the moment the package fell. Should have done it on video.

I think we spent less than 2000 yen for the Kirby so it was worth it. Arcades want you to win prizes for UFO catchers. They just want you to spend a certain amount of money to win them. There was one time we saw an arcade employee testing a UFO catcher to make sure people could win the prize.

More weird things from Anata no Warehouse.

Yup, this is also from Anata no Warehouse.

Okonomiyaki for lunch in Kawasaki. It was kurobuta okonomiyaki and there was hardly any meat in it. :(

I think this was pork belly.

Kurobuta siu mai from the station. OMFG it is so fucking good I want to die right now.

GF got Press Butter Sand. Basically butter biscuit with caramel inside.

So happy to get 3DS street passes in Japan. Its so hard to get any in Melbourne its like why bother?

Went to Akihabara and OMG its the cockpit from SDF Macross!

The main reason for coming to Yodobashi in Akiba was to eat at Magurobito, our favourite sushi place from the last trip.

Its a sushi train shop and you can order using a tablet as well. The price is very reasonable.

Most importantly, the maguro is so effing amazing. The temperature is just right and its so juicy. Why do I have to live in a most livable city where they can't even do sushi right? Sigh.

I love Berserk but this figure looks like shit.

I'm never letting go of my Hanamichi figure.

Surugaya is really expanding into Akihabara.

Can wait for this to open!

Vapor Trail is worth how much???

Pepper lunch for dinner. Next up, Kanazawa!
