Japan Day 11: Scandal Osaka-Jo Hall (Wonderful Tonight)

I was recommended Osaka Tonteki. Apparently its a Yokkaichi specialty.

It was ok. Pretty cheap. They had a mega tonteki which was 500 grams of pork for 1300 yen as well as other type of dishes I want to try.

Arrived around 12.30 for the 4pm show and there was a Scandal cover band.

There was already a queue for merchandise..

 That stretched very, very far.

Around 2pm queue reached the entrancw only to find that it actually snakes past the entrance to the other side. Queued for too long to give up.

 A shit lot of people.

Finally made it about 3.20-ish. 3 effing hours of queing.

 Queue for toilet.

View at Osaka-jo Hall. A lot of the new songs. No Pin-heel surfer. Best song was One Piece. Very heartfelt. I want to rip that live performance for my mp3 player. Ended with good ol reliable Doll and Everybody Say Yeah. Older songs are still better. Thanks once again to bframe5 for the tickets.

Went to Club Sega Avion at Namba. Stipid best of 3 rounds only. Then grandwarrior Abel player Shinba? showed up. High level Abel is like a totally different character. He demolished this master Rufus I had trouble with like nothing.
Don't like the front cause it doesn't say Scandal.

The other design did but I don't think it has this on the back. After Budokan's awesome shirt, this is a disappointment.

The yellow one was sold out for obvious reasons.

Didn't get thephotobook cause my luggage is getting heavy right now and I've got a lot more travelling to do.

Day 10 Osaka

On bus from Yokkaichi to Osaka.

Dunno if you can see from this picture but it was rain that looked like snow. The wind was very strong so it looked like the flakes were flying towards the bus instead of falling from the sky.

Choco chip melon pan. Not enough choco chips but it was nice.

Nouko ramen at Mitsuboshisemenjou. Dissappointingly too salty.

Went to Snack Gift and the same girls were still working there. Felt like old times. Yuka still has the Kyubei I gave her last year and she's seen the Madoka movies.

They changed their karaoke system from DAM to joysound. The good thing is that it's wifi; no need to point at the machine. The bad is that sometimes fonts are too small. I was recommended Ichimaru which opens until 3am.

Pretty generic ramen. Don't expect too many pictures of Osaka since I've been here too many times.

Japan Day 9 : Yokkaichi

Breakfast at Sukiya.

Daigo's second book.

 Girls really play love plus?

 Hotel room in Yokkaichi.

Pr0n pamphlet in hotel room. I only got a 20 second preview. Basically get a card from reception and top it up with machines on every floor. Hhmm, Yamaguchi sisters and Hara Saori.

 Went to Izakaya with bframe5.

Supposedly the place to go for 80s anime talk other than Gundam.

Char Aznable Gundam bar. OMFG. This bar is freaking awesome. No pictures allowed unfortunately so trust me when I say the bar is so cool and I don't even like Gundam.

Best of all are the girls wearing tight, short Gundam uniforms. Holy effing eye candy. And all 3 were pleasing to the eye especially the one that bframe likes. Perfect body with uber sexy uniform : nosebleeds. I was happy to see her walk back and forth.

Highly recommended. Don't think you can find better eye candy anywhere. The nice body girl goes back to Kobe in 3 weeks and I'm thinking of finding a day in my schedule to come back Yokkaichi.

Balloon popping game where you take turns throwing a dice and pushing in the rods X number of times depending on number.

 Bframe5 in torture device.

 Must go attraction of Yokkaichi.

Thanks to bframe5 for getting me concert tickets and a great time!

Nagoya day 3

This is where the SKE48 theatre and shop are. At night, there are a lot of hosts and hostesses standind around soliciting business.

Nagoya tower in the distance.

View from top of Nagoya tower.

 Another Yabaton close to Osu.

My third and last Yabaton. Its too expensive and doesn't taste that much better than regular tonkatsu.

Shirokawa koen.

Science museum. Couldn't be stuffed going in.

 Sakura!

Urban Square game centre. This is where Nagoya Street battle is held. Unfortunately, its best out of 3 rounds.

 Idolmaster arcade game !

Tony Taka gallery upstairs with original art costing 2-3 k.

Went to Sekai no Yamachan with Aaron from Melbourne.

The tebasaki was nice but portions were really small. The main reason I wanted to go was that it was in Ryu ga Gotoku.
