I never ran into Berserk Ichibankuji anywhere so looked up the website for list of Lawsons that did it and there was one in Akihabara but no Berserk. Looks like it sold out long time ago and it seems like scalpers bought up all the Berserk kuji and the only tickets left are from the online store.
I never knew I needed a bookend in my life. I remember looking at the Trilogy Box years ago thinking the price is absolutely crazy. Now it is even crazier and I am a big FromSoft fan now. One day I will sit down and finish Dark Souls 3.
I went to see Last Mile. I knew nothing about the movie except seeing the poster with Mitsushima Hikari in it.
I was given this sticket when I went in and did not even glance at it but you can see that they have Unnatural and MIU, two TBS jdoramas and I have seen Ishihara Satomi's Unnatural. This movie, Last Mile is basically set in the TBS universe! lol I had come to Japan hoping to see the Oi Handsome! movie and TBS have created their answer to the MCU. As long as they don't do stupid multiverse stuff, I am fine.
Well what is Last Mile about? It is about Amazon Japan which the movie calls Daily Fast. One day, boxes delivered from Daily Fast start exploding and killing people. Mitsushima Hikari is the new boss of the warehouse who has to figure out how the explosives are getting into their stock and being delivered and she is being assisted by Okada Masaki. Last Mile is race against the clock, find out who the terrorist is suspense movie.
Abe Sadawo plays the boss of the delivery company and Dean Fujioka is the Japan boss for Daily Fast. The most impressive thing about Last Mile is the distribution warehouse set.
I have watched and read a lot of stuff about how Amazon works so the answer to how the terrorist was able to get their explosives mixed in was very obvious. Still it was a fun movie as they pieced together the clues and there is the story about this employee who committed suicide a few years ago.
Unnatural and MIU show up but they are just cameos. I like the ending, they made it exciting. I would summarise Last Mile as if you know stuff about Amazon warehouses, this is the movie one would make with that knowledge. Watchable.
So happy we have finally broken the 5TB limit for portable HDDs after so many years! For some reason it is so much cheaper to buy this in Australia. Now I can store all my jdoramas in one portable HDD but with a lot of jdoramas at 2.5GB per episode, that extra TB would not last long.
One of these gentlemen is in the news every single day in Japan. Japan is very proud of both of them.
