Koi Desu! is a blind girl meets yankee jdorama. It also has a very strong shojo manga style so that means it is extremely sweet and fluffy.
The yankees are not yankee like in the slightest which would not be a problem if Koi Desu! was funny. Unfortunately its not very I cannot stand how sweet and colourful the show is.
Of course I am not the target demographic so what I am saying is there is nothing else to watch Koi Desu! for besides the facts about blind people and how they go about their day (which I find interesting) and the blind girl's older sister which is the only slight comedy relief in this show.
If you like shojo mangas, this is the show for you but for everyone else, stay away!

I'm surprised you tried this at all lol. I agree that the best thing about this dorama is the educational stuffs about visually impaired people. I rather enjoyed the manga though, it was funny and the conflicts are dealt swiftly and not as drawn-out as in the dorama. It's simply not meaty enough to be turned into 45 minutes worthy of 'drama'.
Not gonna argue with your review or Anon's comment above... but this has been an enjoyable feel-good show. Cartoonish characters and situations (something I usually have little patience for... I'm not the target audience) but the visually-impared stuff is interesting (watching her starting out working in the fast-food joint was stressful!).
This is one of those shows you have to know what the premise is and compare it to it to like it. Knowing it comes from a Manga and the lighthearted story beforehand, one can enjoy this one - if you expect something deep beforehand you probably should not watch it :P
I also think the best character is Nao as the big sister in it. Not only is she at least sometimes a character with a tad more depth, she is also most of the time a delight to watch anyways.
Of course the show ends as expected - especially as it is a roance show in christmas season.
