I started watching Ashita no Kimi ga Motto Suki because I wanted to see Ito Ayumi in a main role. She's always good in supporting roles but rarely do I get to see her as a main character.
Ashita no Kimi ga Motto Suki is about a bunch of people with issues who keep running into each other. Ito Ayumi is always going out with married men, Ichihara Hayato has a fiancee that he treats like a sister and the fiancee starts falling in love with Ito Ayumi's younger sister who's husband gets off on his wife having an affair.
Not complicated enough for you? We have another dude who likes entrapping older women and has mommy issues.
There are a lot of interesting things in Ashita no Kimi ga Motto Suki but they don't seem to go anywhere interesting or meaningful, especially Hayato's fiancee trying to figure out who she is.
It feels like a show that was slated for 10 episodes but had to be cut down to 7 so everything was rushed to a boring finish. Disappointing meh.
