D-addicts subtitles are going down!
Just saw on @keiko1981's twitter that d-addicts will be removing subtitles due to always getting DMCA notices. We got two weeks to download all subtitles so download all subtitles for all series that you might want to check out in the future.
The question is where do we go from here? If the fansub map is still around then maybe we can still have a point from which to look for subtitles. Would another forum be willing to host subtitles? There has to be a central source for which subbers can all upload their work or else its going to be very hard for the already niche jdorama audience to get their subtitles.
Hopefully jdorama fansubbing will survive and not be relegated to locked threads in livejournal. Need my Japanese subs for Takane no Hana.

I have had a forum in mind and set it up for the most part already. But not made it public, since we have/had(?) D-Addicts. If the whole D-Addicts go kaput I'll consider launching it. But I want to wait/hear/see what happens little.
Subscene is still around but you need to search for it and it's not exclusively for asian dramas.
Oh no :( Why do J-drama fans keep getting hit?? Poor d-addicts :(

i havent been watching much jdramas recently since there hasnt been much subs out for shows.
japan is too tough when it comes with jdramas, and jmusic. because of what theyre doing its not as popular and has been surpassed by kdramas and kmusic.
theyd rather stay insular and sell dvds and bluray at insane prices in japan than sell at a cheaper price and make it available to the world.
